Oilcloth Lunch Bag Tutorial / How-To

I found a tutorial QUICKLY for an oilcloth lunch bag! I have some oilcloth that I've kept for years, not knowing what to use it for. I'm definitely going to use it for this lunch bag, and I'm sure I'll have enough of it to make a matching makeup bag, too! I'll probably make some for my Etsy.

Amazon.com is so addictive! So are art books...

I've been spending a LOT of time on Amazon.com looking at art/craft books. And it has the Wish List feature so I can just remember the books and music I want, and it automatically has "recommendations" for me of books I would like, which I end up liking, so I end up spending lots of time there. And money if I had it.
I've got some very comfortable cottony pj pants on and I'm starting to feel sleepy.

Oh, I finished a bag today! It was a custom order, but I still would like to put photos of it up here so I can show you what I've been doing lately.

i'm building up a collection of owls! they're all for sale on my etsy: http://www.carlygarza.etsy.com/ , except for the little owl lamp that snuck into the family photo. i think i'm progressing in quality with each new owl i make and each new embroidery technique i learn. i'm becoming way more dedicated to my shop, and should be posting new items several times a week.

update on this owl (july 12 2008):

ok so i just put new better pictures of this little guy on my etsy, but i gave it away to my bff tonight. so i put the new pics here on my blog. he's gone into a new home. :)
